Jennifer Miller M.E.S.
Jennifer is the principle of Accessibility Consultants and Trainers. Her
experience includes working with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario, of
the Ministry of Community and Social Services. This partnership involved
developing resources to assist organization to meet their legal obligations
under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA); conducting
province-wide training; developing compliance resources; identifying
accessibility barriers along with strategies for barrier removal; developing
strategies to accommodate persons with disabilities; accessible event
planning and other accessibility related projects.
Jennifer has prepared numerous public and private sector organizations to
meet their legal obligations under the AODA. She has also worked with human
rights lawyers conducting training and developing policies, procedures and
practices required under the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service.
She has several years of experience working on issues affecting people with
disabilities and seniors. Further experience includes conducting accessibility
audits of interior and exterior spaces; providing workshops on barrier free
and universal design; performing policy audits; accessible event planning;
conducting needs assessments and other research; and preparing community
report cards on issues affecting people with disabilities and seniors.
Accessibility Consultants and Trainers includes a team of accessibility experts
ready to assist organizations with a wide range of accessibility matters and
with AODA compliance.
